This section lists basic vehicle details encoded by the VIN. The information includes detailed data & specifications about the vehicle like performance & fuel efficiency, handling & braking, exterior & aerodynamics, and the measured dimensions of the vehicle.
This section will give you the title records. Clicking the states linked below will request details from the respective websites.
Junk / Salvage / Insurance Records
This section lists junk, salvage, and insurance records. You will get the details of vehicles that have either been reported as a total loss by an insurance company, registered with a junk/scrap yard or sold at a salvage auction.
This section lists active theft and theft recovery records for this VIN.
Theft information is important as those scammed into buying a stolen car can lose both the car and money if it is recovered by the police.
Lien / Impound / Export Records
This section lists lien, impound, and export records (if any).
- Lien records indicate that a car is most likely financed and hasn’t been paid off.
- Impound records show if a vehicle was taken to an impound lot.
- Export records will show if a vehicle was ever exported outside of the United States.
This section lists all minor and major vehicle accident records, including the location of the damage on the vehicle and extent, if know.
Salvage auction records
